Sublime Text - это текстовый редактор, в первую очередь рассчитанный на программистов, так как он поддерживает подсветку синтаксиса C, C++, C#, CSS, D, Erlang, HTML, Groovy, Haskell, HTML, Java, javascript, LaTeX, Lisp, Lua, Markdown, Matlab, OCaml, Perl, PHP, Python, R, Ruby, SQL, TCL, Textile и XML. В программе используются несколько цветовых шаблонов выделения текста. Во время тога, как вы набираете текст, в фоновом режиме происходит автосохранение, что позволит в случае чего открыть копию и продолжить с ней работать. Весть текст отображается в миниатюрном окне слева, что очень удобно для быстрого перемещения. Программа поддерживает макросы, соединения через WinSCP и поддерживает работу сразу с несколькими окнами. При редактировании можно использовать выделение столбцов, автокопирование при выделении мышкой, автозавершение и проверку орфографии.
